Sustainability Plan for Interlake Child Care and Learning Center (Seattle): Interlake’s goal was to improve their current location’s environmental and social footprint within a tight budget. Interlake Child Care wanted an easy to understand analysis and guide to implement positive changes now, and down the road in their new location. The first phase was to identify their current impacts; what they are doing right presently and areas where they could improve. The plan highlighted budget friendly first steps to take right away and moved on to actions that required more planning and funding. The next phase addressed the 5 year plan and a sustainability strategy for Interlake’s future location.
